Father of two hanged himself over mortgage repayments
A part-time postman hanged himself from his garage roof the day before his family was due to be evicted for failing to keep up mortgage payments.
Duncan Wilby, 39, had kept his financial problems as secret from his wife Mandy while falling almost ?1,500 in arrears.
The couple, who have two young children, had been saved from bailiffs repossessing their home on two previous occasions when his sister paid off debts.
An inquest heard that Mr Wilson received another letter on Feb 15 this year demanding ?1,421 or face eviction on March 6.
